A funny thing happened to me on Tuesday. Not “ha ha” funny (although my staff is taking great pleasure in rubbing it in...). I have a habit of cutting it really close with my flights. I consistently underestimate how long it’ll take me to drive to the airport, park...

About the Author

I’ve been traveling - as a career and a calling - since I was in my early twenties. I have lots of stories, (mis)adventures and viewpoints to share, and have been publishing this weekly blog since 2009. I hope you’ll enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it! And I love to get comments and feedback. Thanks!

Coming up in 2018!

India Early March 2018 is a perfect time to explore the sacred south of India. Kerala is an enchanting tropical region with rivers, lagoons, backwaters and a rich tradition of culture and dance. It’s the most prosperous and literate state in the country.

Patagonia Plans are in the works for a fabulous adventure to Patagonia in Chile. Tentative dates are late November + first part of December, 2018.
