Nelson Shanks’, world famous realist painter and founder of the Studio Incamminati art academy in Philadelphia, has just launched his art exhibition in Russia, with the June 2nd opening at the State Russian Museum in St Petersburg, Russia. A distinguished honor that no other living American painter has experienced.

In celebration, The CTP Group created an 8-night “Russian Art Tour” to allow friends, patrons and colleagues of the Shanks and of Studio Incamminati to join Nelson at the opening in St Petersburg. The journey, which began last Friday in Moscow, where everyone spent a glorious weekend sight-seeing and enjoying the accommodations at the Ritz-Carlton Moscow. They moved on to St Petersburg at the beginning of the week, with the elegant Grand Hotel Europe as their base of operations. In addition to attending the private exhibition opening, the group was treated to a private, after-hours tour of the world-famous Hermitage Museum given by Nelson Shanks himself!
