About the Ship: Now in her second successful year under the Paul Gauguin Cruises banner, the deluxe m/v Tere Moana specializes in warm-weather destinations, with unique itineraries that larger ships cannot offer. She was recently named “Best New Small Ship” and “Best Way to See the Greek Isles” in Cruisereport.com’s Editors’ Choice Awards.

About the Itinerary: This is a customized itinerary beginning and ending in Istanbul – to include the best of the Greek Isles. We’ve worked out the exact ports of call with the help of Captain Rajko.  Naturally, we’re mostly going to the most wondrous places – where the big ships cannot go.

Limnos – With one of the prettiest harbors in Greece, beautiful beaches and picturesque villages untouched by modern-day tourism … a perfect first stop.

Santorini – the iconic, spectacular, breathtaking island beauty that will take your breath away – especially at sunset when the reflection on the buildings and the glow of the orange and red cliffs is a spectacle unlike any other …. and we don’t leave till 10 PM!

Tilos, which we visit in the morning of June 9th, is the place that Captain Rajko calls his “Dream Island.”  In the afternoon, we go to Symi, named one of the Five Best Greek Islands by Conde Nast Traveller, with perfectly picturesque neoclassic buildings overlooking the harbor.

Patmos, where St John wrote the Book of Revelation in 95 A.D., in the Holy Cave of the Apocalypse.

Kusadasi (for Ephesus) …  All I can say is prepare to be surprised! Nobody does this place like WOW! is gonna do it!

The Details:

Dates: You will need to depart on Friday, June 5 in order to embark the Tere Moana in Istanbul on June 6. There are non-stop flights to Istanbul from many major airports.  The Cappadocia pre-trip would necessitate a departure from the U.S. on June 2 – to overnight in Istanbul on the 3rd before flying to Cappadocia on June 4.

Rates: $4,995 per person, double occupancy, for a deluxe stateroom with picture window.  Cappadocia: (1,295 per person, double …. includes two nights in a suite at the spectacular Argos of Cappadocia (plus all excursions, airport transfers, most meals ….)

Port Taxes: (those pesky “government taxes and fees”):  $425 per person

Solo travelers: A limited number of staterooms are available with a single supplement of only $500.
