I’ve come to Maui to do a site inspection.
Three nights of intensive, grueling sampling of a deluxe, ocean-view bedroom and all the amenities at the brand-spanking new Andaz Resort in Wailea.
(I hear you already . . . sending absolutely NO sympathy!)
Funny enough, about 35 years ago, when I got my first inkling of the possibility of a career in the travel industry, I though maybe I could get a job as an airport greeter.
I could have been the girl in this photo!
Meet & greet in Maui
Instead, I get to check THIS out!

And this:
Molokai Cliffs
And this:
Hippy, dippy town of Pa’ia
And this:
Surf beach on the north shore of Maui
So … if you were among the many back in the snow-bound, frigid northern U.S., or draught-plagued southwest who have no sympathy for me – you would be correct!
Aloha!

Sounds so much like Heaven! I’m so very proud of you being there instead of you being an airline employee, although that might have been fun for a little while!

I think, Marilyn, that you should leave the resort immediately and go to the airport and greet folks in an unpaid ambassador-like position. You could dance the hula, scantily-clad, as you sing improv songs to each guest about where they are from.
Hope to see you soon!!!
